Futaba Transmitter
What transmitter would be best?
I am looking for a transmitter either futaba or hitech. I don't want to spend to much. I want one that is fm and you can program for what channel your on and program different planes to it so the trimming is already set.
Thanks
Futaba, Hitec and JR are all good brands. A spread-spectrum transmitter (2.4 gigahertz) has advantages over traditional radio frequencies. You can't clash with another operator's frequency, for one thing. Your idea to get a programmable transmitter with multiple model memories is the right choice for your future flying.
You also have a choice between mode 1 (throttle on the right) and mode 2 (throttle on the left). In your country, mode 2 is most common, so that will help you if you go to a club for instruction.
